The Square

The Square is a revitalization of a dead mall into a community gathering space or “third place”; providing a central hub for neighbors to seek connection without barriers of cost.

This project reimagines a mall beyond the purpose of consumption, creating a destination for meaningful human connection amidst an epidemic of loneliness.
